Humanist Community Centers
The Humanists of
Florida Association is committed to assisting local Humanist groups
create at least 2 Humanist Community Centers in Florida by 2008.
These centers
should help Humanism gain respectability in the communities in which
they are sited as buildings indicate permanence.
The three
Communities we are focusing on to create these centers are:

Tampa - In
conjunction with the Humanist Charter School

Sarasota -
In conjunction with the Congregation for Humanistic Judaism. One
of the activities being looked into for the Center is Day Care

Miami - In
conjunction with Humanists Activists in the area (still in
preliminary stages).
