Finding Information

Elected Representatives

Contact information for your local representatives to government can all be found in your phone book. However, finding lists of media to contact, and who is sitting on what committee is a bit harder.

Florida government has a great website, as does the US government. However, the link we are providing here is for CapWiz - which will help you locate whoever you want and help you contact them.

Use the link below to enter the CapWiz system.

Find Elected Officials
Enter ZIP Code:

Legislative Information

If you are looking for information on Federal Legislation - the best site to use is the Library of Congress' Thomas system.  http://thomas.loc.gov/  You can look up bills, see who has co-sponsored.  Track where it is in the legislative system, read the entire text, etc.

For Florida legislation - visit the My Florida legislative website at:

Both sites allow you to search for legislation and look up existing statutes.
